Rebecca Newson interviews Yuka Yamaji, Head of the Photographs Department, Christie's London, about their upcoming July 1st sale. Yamaji discusses photography, the image and its elements such as the importance of light, shadow, line, form, colour and space.

She also discusses the much anticipated second installation of 'Distinctively', a category which Yamaji spearheaded to showcase contemporary and emerging photographer within the auction context. .
