Regulating AI & the Metaverse | Dave Shrier, Professor of Practice at ICBS| Hub Culture Davos 2022 772 views
“As soon as anything deviates from promoting the profit interests, a lot of corporations disband their AI panels”
Dave Shrier explains that by default, we have allowed a very small #elite to make decisions about the #AI that we interact with and the #ethics of those systems. He argues that there is a role for businesses, governments and corporations to intervene and expand the pool of people who shape how an AI thinks and responds. Just as we teach children numeracy in school, should we also be teaching #digital, or AI, #literacy?
