Doug McCauley is a Hub Culture fan favorite. On his last visit to the Davos Pavilion, Doug was kind enough to bring a sample of albatross vomit. This time, he brought along a mangrove seed! Found on coastlines across the globe, mangrove forests are unique environments crucial to global health and both marine and terrestrial biodiversity. They protect coastal communities from natural disaster and erosion, sequester around four times the amount of carbon as forests based on the land and are a refuge for diverse forms of life that hold extraordinary economic value for local communities.
